Global distributed multi-cloud routing

Two common facts present at large enterprises; (A) they act as a global company and (B) they do have a multi-cloud strategy. In almost every global enterprise I talk to those two facts play a role and are a given we have to work with. When advising a customer on a global enterprise architecture one can see this as a hindrance or perceive this as an opportunity.

Oracle Cloud and Azure
The majority of large global enterprises do, at no surprise, leverage both Oracle Cloud and Azure as their primary cloud providers. One of the advantages of the combination of Azure and Oracle Cloud is the partnership between Oracle and Microsoft which facilitates unified support, direct cloud interconnectivity among other benefits for customers

Microsoft and Oracle have partnered to provide low latency, high throughput cross-cloud connectivity, allowing you to take advantage of the best of both clouds.

Using this cross-cloud connectivity, you can partition a multi-tier application to run your database tier on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and the application and other tiers on Microsoft Azure. The experience is similar to running the entire solution stack in a single cloud.
